As the scheduled plan the client of the project, EMPRESA DE GENERACION ELECTRICA CANCHAYLLO S.A.C (EGECSAC), started the contractual negotiation with HMEC after closing the financial agreement of the loan from the Inter-American Investment Corporation (the IIC). The contract was signed on Nov. 12, 2012 between the client and HMEC together with HARBIN KUNMING ELECTRIC MACHINERY CO., LTD. Who will be responsible for the supply of the main equipment turbine & generator with the related accessories.

In the contract it is specified to finish the delivery of the E&M equipment in 10 months after the commencement date, and to complete the erection and commissioning in 16 months. The payment will be made by L/C except the advance payment by T/T.
